IRAP is providing information and other assistance to Iraqi refugees newly arrived in the United States. For any immigration population the transition to American life can be daunting, and particularly for those who suffered traumatic experiences in their home countries as so many Iraqis have. We are building a network of NGOs across the country who provide aid to refugees, and seeking contributions from individuals and companies who can help provide basic household materials to new arrivals.

Since we are located in New Haven, Connecticut we are better equipped to help refugees in that region. But we are also able to assist those anywhere in the United States with referrals to NGOs in their area and other services.
